From our hands to your wardrobe
A Thousand Knots, Tied by Hand
Before a bandhani saree ever reaches you, it passes through a pair of patient hands. A karigar lifts the fabric with a fingernail, binds it with thread, and repeats that motion thousands of times — one knot for every dot you will later see bloom across the silk. Then come the dye vats, the desert sun, and finally the moment the cloth is opened and the pattern appears for the very first time.
Leheriya waves rolled by hand. Ajrakh blocks pressed in indigo and madder. Mulmul so light it moves before you do. Every suit and saree we sell is made this slow way, by artisan families we know by name — and no two will ever be exactly alike.
That little irregularity in your drape? That is a person's hand. It is not a flaw — it is the signature.
